Nathaniel Keegan Carter is the son of a reading teacher and a recent graduate of the University of Southern California, where he earned a degree in English and animation and now works as a publications wizard. He studied, among other things, medieval anti-papist screeds, the National Film Board of Canada, plot structure, attic Greek, the danse macabre, obscure stop-motion techniques, and middle English blackletter. He is grateful for the education and the perpetual access to the Oxford English Dictionary.
